We are currently half way through 1-2-1 sessions that I booked for our dog regarding some behaviours I was stuck with and really needed some help and guidance with.  After listening to a lot of conflicting advice online from different trainers, I booked a block of 1-2-1 sessions, so that I could get my children involved too and I must say it's been worth every penny so far.  Roy is very encouraging, kind and patient with training and I'm sure there are times he must want to eye roll us sometimes with bad habits we had created, but Roy is such a friendly person and the training is very relaxed.  My children also love getting involved too and learning tips from Roy who is a huge source of experience and knowledge.  We have asked so many questions and sometimes Roy explains things so clearly and from a dog's perspective that they actually seem quite obvious when he says it out loud, but we didn't get it before! Thanks to Roy, we've also completely changed our dog's diet and it has improved significantly for the better and our dog is enjoying the change too.  We ask lots of questions and we feel we can open up to Roy about any questions or concerns we have and he is happy to answer our questions and explains things thoroughly. We learn so much in the sessions which fly by, but it is also very useful with the follow up PDF's and videos that he sends afterwards to make sure our understanding is correct after a full on session with lots of information. I cannot believe the progress we have made in such a small amount of time and I look forward to seeing what else we can learn in the remaining of our 1-2-1  classes. If you are thinking about booking Roy - just do it, you won't be disappointed. Roy - thanks again for all your help so far. I can think of so many more reasons missing Roy's class would be a mistake. Training a new puppy is hard as it is rewarding. What the puppy class did for us was provide a clear structure demonstrated by Roy and a community of great peers and their pups whom we could share experiences with. We have done 1:1, puppy and junior classes with Roy and cannot recommend him enough. Roy is really knowledgeable, encouraging and clearly cares so much about all the dogs he comes across. You get tons of support both in and outside the classes. We've learnt so much as dog parents and our lurcher puppy Lyra is doing really well thanks to Roy. Big recommend!

An absolutely wonderful experience with Roy and Learn Doglish. Positive reinforcement is absolutely the way to go. Roy is so knowledgeable and experienced and expertly takes into account the needs of different breeds, ages and circumstances. My partner and I have learnt so much and the girls have improved beautifully. We are all so much more confident now in our training and behaviours. We will be back for another course 100%. We signed our two 18 month old girls up for Roy's junior classes and they've been absolutely amazing. He is clearly very knowledgable and provides a massive amount of support in the form of PDF manuals and videos. It's massively improved our confidence in training. Learn doglish with Roy Williams was great, fun and informative.  We learnt a lot from the classes and about dogs in general.  Roy was always available for advice at anytime during the week. We attended Roy’s training sessions  when my dog little Westie was just 5 months old. At the time, he was very boisterous, full of energy, and struggled to stand still or follow me during the short training exercises like some of the other dogs did—no matter how many treats I tried! Although Hugo was often more interested in the grass and everything going on around him, I still gained so much from the classes. Roy and the group shared really useful tips and techniques that I was able to practice at home and on walks—and that’s where I really started to see results. Because of that, I kept attending, and I’m so glad I did. Hugo has come on massively. He now automatically stops at the curb on walks (and has done for quite some time without needing treats), sits when asked, and waits patiently at the door—even when it’s open—until I give him permission to go. One of the biggest changes has been his behaviour around other dogs. Before, I felt quite anxious and would avoid them altogether. But since about the third week of training, Hugo has been brilliant when meeting other dogs. I’ve learned how to stay calm and how to manage situations confidently, including gently guiding Hugo away if things get overwhelming or another dog has had enough. I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned from Roy and the group, and I would highly recommend his classes to anyone with a young or energetic dog.
